Harborne

Harborne is situated a few miles to the southwest of Birmingham city centre and is near to Quinton and Edgbaston. In terms of property, there is a large stock of Victorian housing with beautiful period features. There are also a few newer build apartments and the village feel of Harborne combined with the proximity to Birmingham city centre makes it a desirable place to live for many professionals. Consequently, property prices reflect this and so values tend to be at a premium compared to some nearby areas.

Harborne has a plethora of quality pubs, coffee shops, and restaurants which are a mixture of national chains and good independents as well as a thriving high street with numerous shops and services. There is a newly renovated leisure centre and gym, a hockey club, two golf courses, and a cricket ground. As you would expect there are a number of bus services which run through Harborne and can quickly whisk commuters or shoppers into the city centre.
