Quinton is five miles from Birmingham city centre and borders Harborne and Bartley Green. It is also separated from Halesowen by the M5 motorway.

Quinton has a wide selection of bus routes, shops and pubs. Properties are largely traditional style semi-detached homes but with some detached and some affordable ex-local authority. All are within easy travelling distance of Birmingham City Centre, and mostly mid-priced in terms of value for the greater West Midlands.

Interestingly the top point of the spire of the Christ Church is the highest point of any building in Birmingham. The largest green space in the area is the Woodgate Valley country park which covers a surprising 450 acres.
